This original painting was inspired by the story of Revolutionary War hero John Glover and his regiment, mainly comprised of fishermen from the seaside town of Marblehead, Massachusetts. Glover’s Regiment is most famous for leading George Washington across the Delaware River on Christmas night 1776.

This painting was exhibited at the Marblehead Festival of Arts in 2021, and was awarded the People’s Choice Award for Mixed Media.

Signed on front, signed & dated on back. Comes with a certificate of authenticity.
