Harvard School of Public Health

Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health Center for Work, Health and Well-being, in collaboration with Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, developed a publication for an integrated approach to worker health and safety. The extensive guide shows employers how to weave together their safety, health, and organizational goals using innovative research and real-world examples.

Working closely with Dana Farber and their team, Mary Jo designed the 92-page guide for print and digital uses. The work included creating several charts, infographics and photo layouts, all while adhering to the Harvard Center’s brand guidelines.

Following the success of the guide, Dana Farber and the Center tasked Mary Jo with designing additional pieces, including a poster, brochure and a tip sheet. The pieces have proven to be valued resources used by employers as they evaluate and continually improve efforts to enhance worker health, safety, and well-being.
