Bellybaloo is an app that allows expecting mothers to access their ultrasound images and videos from their phone, and share them with friends and family via social media.

The goal was to make Bellybaloo clearly communicate the joys of sharing one of life’s most exciting moments, and also to convey a professional, accessible brand image to two audiences—patients and providers. Partnering agency exUrban Inc. developed a brand strategy with the theme “Simple. Social. Secure.” Mary Jo and exUrban Inc. then proposed conceptual directions based on strategy. From there, Mary Jo conveyed a sense of joy, love and protection with the brand mark design. The new brand identity system was further expressed with a color scheme, typography and creative assets for print and digital uses.
